Skills

Knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques for pediatric disorders within your discipline

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with parents, caregivers, and other team members to ensure a collaborative and client-centered approach.

Responsibilities
-
Conduct or participate in comprehensive assessments to evaluate the abilities of pediatric clients
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders in children
-
Provide direct therapy services to children
-
Collaborate with families to set goals and establish home programming to support progress and generalization of skills
-
Document client progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports for team meetings and IEP/IFSP meetings.

Collaborate with other professionals on our team

Engage in ongoing professional development and stay up-to-date with current research and best practices

Advocate for children's needs and provide education and support to families and caregivers
-
Adhere to ethical and professional standards set forth by the profession and maintain confidentiality of client information
Qualifications/Experience:
Speech-Language Pathologist
-
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply)

Experience working with pediatric populations (preferred)
Physical Therapist
-
Master's degree in Physical Therapy (minimally)
-
Valid state license or certification in Physical Therapy
-
Experience working with pediatric populations (preferred)
Occupational Therapist
-
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
-
Valid state license in Occupational Therapy
-
Experience working with pediatric populations (preferred)
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
-
Valid state certification or licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
-
Experience working with pediatric populations (Preferred)
Early Childhood Educator

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education or a related field
-
Valid state certification or licensure in Early Childhood Special Education
-
Experience working with young children with special needs
-
Knowledge of early childhood development and evidence-based instructional strategies
Location
Our clinic is located in Dover, Delaware. However, we have opportunities across the state for school district contracts or community-based services.
